This summer, Foxfire Mountain House invites you to our celebrated annual dining series In The Wild - a bountiful family-style dinner served in the magical Foxfire forest.

Each event will begin with a fun & informative educational hour featuring local wine experts and/or meet and greet with some of the country’s top independent producers of wine & spirits. You will then be led through the tall grasses of our meadow, down a wooded path to your seat at one of our forest dining tables. Relax and enjoy a lavish multi-course menu surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, a carefully curated soundtrack, and the glow of chandeliers draped in Spanish moss. And to top it all off,  beer & wine will be served throughout dinner included as part of your ticket. Let our warm and exceptional hospitality team create an unforgettable evening for you and your friends.

Tickets are $175 pp including a multi-course dinner, 
open beer and wine from 5-8pm, and gratuity.

All menus to be announced ahead of the first event.

Sunday, June 22nd

Dining Theme: Celebrate the top producers of the Catskills & Hudson Valley with a menu that utilizes the finest local ingredients to explore the flavors of Japan & Southeast Asia. 

Event Partner:  Local wine producer Todd Cavallo of family-run Wild Arc Farm (Pine Bush, NY) will share some of his favorite varietals and discuss his journey into low-intervention winemaking in the northeast.

Sunday, July 20th

Dining Theme: Discover the vibrant flavors and rich heritage of Catalonia, where the Mediterranean coastline meets rugged mountains, and rustic recipes blend with culinary innovation.

Event Partner: Wine & spirit importers Josh Holly & J Henehan of Haus Alpenz will be sharing some deep selections from their catalog, highlighting the best of Spanish (& French) Catalonian wines, vermouths and specialty aperitifs.

Sunday, August 24th

Dining Theme: Explore the cuisine of Alsace-Lorraine - where French finesse meets German heartiness and centuries of cultural fusion have shaped dishes both rustic and refined.

Event Partner: Sommelier and local wine shop owner Maureen Sciutto of Unfiltered Wines shares her favorite producers from the region - expect refined and aromatic old-world wines with a lively discussion of Alsatian history and traditions.

Sunday, September 28th

Dining Theme: A tribute to Autumn’s harvest - this special menu is filled with the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients, celebrating the best of vegetarian and pescatarian cuisine. 

Event Partner: Leah Rinaldi of Jenny & Francois Selections returns to Foxfire to share her passion for natural wine in an interactive discussion on organic viticulture, native yeasts, and the magic of spontaneous fermentation.

  • In the case of inclement weather the dinners will be held on our indoor covered veranda. 

  • Menu information will be fully announced a month prior to each event.

  • Event tickets are fully refundable up to 5 days prior to the event.
